Novelty is located in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. We make all products by hand in a commercial kitchen right here in Calgary.

Everything we make is vegan! Our chocolate cake mix and all our icing decorating kits are also gluten free.
We're here to empower the home baker and we encourage you to put your own spin on your Novelty creations. Here are a few ideas to get you started:
Add your own mix-ins to your cake just before baking like fresh berries, sprinkles, chocolate chips, or toasted coconut
Stack different flavours of Novelty cakes and build your own multi-tiered creation
Try lightly mixing two cake batters together before baking to create a swirl effect
Add fresh berries and other toppings to your cake, or decorate it with our decorating kits

Our cake mixes can be stored in a cool, dry place like your pantry. They keep well for up to 90 days. Decorating kits should be stored in the fridge and used within 90 days.
Each mix makes an 8" cake or 12 cupcakes.
Shipping is free within Calgary for orders over $50 CAD. For orders under $50 CAD, there is a $5 delivery fee within Calgary city limits. We are currently working on affordable shipping rates for Canada-wide deliveries.
